In an impassioned speech he told his fans at the SSE Hydro: "I think I have ADD, ADHD or something like that when my mind doesn't work properly.

"It doesn't. Maybe I'm just different. Do you guys like different. Who wants to be just like everybody else, you know? I think that's boring. Uniqueness. I think being unique, being different is important, setting yourself apart and it's hard nowadays with the internet and social media.

“They want you to look the same act the same dress the same.

“We are all different people with our own identity. I think it's hard to step out and be different. You're afraid of how people look at you, how people will react.

“You know how many people told me not to put this skirt on? I think that being unique is key.”

And appearing to reference his recent on stage dramas, he continued: "Life is good. Life is great. We can overcome all obstacles. Would you agree? How many obstacles? All of the obstacles. Any obstacle that comes in our way, we can overcome it. Nothing's too big a challenge.”

Becoming rather emotional, the Sorry singer continued:  “You guys ever feel like giving up? When something gets too tough you just feel like stopping, just quitting? I get that way sometimes.

“You know, sometimes when I have to come on stage and put a smile on my face or sometimes when you know you just have to put our emotions or feelings to the side so we can just get on with our lives. I just want to thank you it's for the support and that you took this journey with me."

Earlier this year Justin opened up about taking medication for his ADHD – revealing that while he ‘enjoys’ taking it, it made him anxious.

Speaking to GQ he said: “I’m getting restless. I take Adderall, too. “I’m not getting restful sleep, so during the day I need (Adderall) to concentrate because I’m not getting the proper—you know, when you sleep, your body creates endorphins, creates these things, and when you’re not getting that sleep.”

He added: “I’ve been getting a lot of anxiety, and they think it’s stemming from the Adderall.

“That’s why I’ve stopped taking it. Or else I wouldn’t stop, because I really enjoy it.”
