Justin Bieber drops the mic and storms off stage in Manchester over crowds reaction to his ramblings
Singer was trying to have a 'connection' with the crowd but soon got annoyed when they started to boo him
JUSTIN Bieber stormed off stage during his concert in Manchester last night after excited fans wouldn’t stop screaming.
The Love Yourself singer, 22, was performing at the Manchester Arena when he threw down his microphone and walked off stage shortly before 10pm.
And unimpressed punters ranted about the incident on Twitter after spending hundreds of pounds to see the Canadian superstar in concert.
One fan, @AmberBrookeMUA tweeted: “Can't believe Justin Bieber flung his mic on the floor and stopped the concert cos people were screaming.”
Justin is believed to have become agitated after being booed by the crowd for asking them not to cheer during his songs.
He said: "I’m not quite sure, you know, why you guys came tonight.
"I hope it was to enjoy my company as well as me enjoying your company. You know, I want to connect with you.
"The point of the no screaming thing is, so that when I’m looking at you in the eyes, you can actually know that we’re having a moment and a connection.
"It’s not just me trying to be an a**hole. It’s just me wanting to have a moment.
"Manchester you guys are awesome and I appreciate you."
But within seconds, it seems the pop star seems to regret his compliment to the northern city crowd as he added: "I’m just gonna quit talking, I’m not going to talk for the rest of the night, we’re just going to do the music because obviously Manchester just can’t handle it."
However another video shows the singer storming up the ramp back to the main stage, before a loud thud can be heard as he drops the mic and heads off stage to a series of shocked cries and boos.
He told the crowd on Monday: “Can you guys do me a favor? Can you guys just relax for about two seconds?
“I get it, I get it, but I’m like two feet away from you. And I can hear you. I appreciate all the love, it’s amazing. But can you show it in a different way? Screaming is just so obnoxious.”
