How to find TV model name

A model name is a combination of numbers and letters, for example KD-55XG9505 or WH-1000XM4.

It's not easily mistakable for a serial number, which only consists of numbers.

To find your model name, check these three locations:

  • A label on the back or bottom of the device
  • The original packaging and printed instruction manual inside it
  • The system menu in products with a user interface

Just one day later, on 24 July, the app will stop working on another 42 Sony TV models, including:

Then on July 31, the streamer will also reportedly pull its app from second and third-generation Apple TVs.

According to Apple Insider, other than age, it is unclear why Netflix is leaving older Apple TVs.
