FPS gamers must grab three popular games before they’re gone for good – including an 89-rated title

Online multiplayer will stop working shortly afterwards

EA has just announced that it will be sunsetting a number of its popular games over the coming months.

All three games and their DLCs will be delisted from a number of storefronts on Wednesday, July 31, 2024.

Online functionality will also cease on Thursday, November 7, 2024, but the single-player campaigns will still be playable to those who have purchased the titles after this date.

The three games that will be delisted in just a few weeks are all from the Battlefield series, and they are considered some of the best in the series.

Battlefield 3 is the first game that will be delisted and has an 89 rating on review aggregate site Metacritic.

It features 29 multiplayer maps with destructible environments and a number of vehicles and weapons you can use.

The 85-rated Battlefield 4 will also leave at the end of the month, and features up to 64-person multiplayer modes.

Battlefield Hardline is the final game that will vanish, and it’s focused more on bank heists, unlike other entries in the series.

All three games will be delisted from the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 storefronts, though they will remain available on other platforms.

You will not be able to purchase the games or the DLC on these platforms after the end of July, though if you have bought them before this date, you may download them later.

However, no matter which platform you wish to play on, all online modes will be unavailable after November 7.

EA says that it is sunsetting these games so that it can focus on its more current titles.
