Steam players can grab an early look at one of July’s biggest releases completely free

WITH all the amazing games that are launching in 2024, it’s always good to try before you buy.

You can see if the games are for you before spending your hard-earned cash.

One of the biggest games releasing this month is Capcom’s Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, a single-player action strategy game based on Japanese folklore.

Gameplay revolves around protecting your village, tower defence-style, and is split into several levels.

Kunitsu-Gami will launch on July 19, 2024, but players can try it out from today.

It will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, but there is a special early bonus for Steam players.

If you visit the Steam store page for Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess you can download the demo completely free.

This is a time-unlimited demo, meaning that you can play the available content as many times as you would like.

The demo features a number of the levels from the main game, and it might take you a number of tries to complete each level.

This should give you a good idea if Kunitsu-Gami is the right game for you before you go in and purchase it.

Alongside the demo, a collaboration with a hugely popular Capcom game was also announced.

Players who complete at least two in-game missions from the demo before July 17 will be able to earn a number of items based on Okami.

There will be costumes for both Amaterasu and Waka from Okami, and Amaterasu’s weapon as part of the free rewards.
