MILLIONS more people are about to lose access to a popular streaming app on their TVs.
It has already disappeared from Amazon Fire and Roku devices, and now Samsung TVs are next to kick it to the curb.

Music streaming platform Tidal, one of Spotify's biggest rivals, has announced it is pulling its app from Samsung TVs.
Despite being one of the most popular streaming services out there, Tidal appears to be discontinuing its TV app.
It's iOS and Android services will continue, for now.
Tidal, favoured for its high-res audio streams, is to vanish from Samsung TVs running the Tizen OS software on July 8, 2024, according to TechIssuesToday.

Subscribers have received emails warning of the change.
"After July 8, 2024, TIDAL will no longer be available on Samsung SmartTVS," the company wrote in the customer-wide email.
"To keep listening to your favourite tunes, log in to TIDAL from your computer, download the mobile app or discover other ways to stream."

The app joined Samsung TVs as part of a partnership it inked in 2018.

It appears the partnership has now ended, hence the removal of the app from Samsung devices.
While many subscribers will stream Tidal tunes on the smartphone, many wish to play their music on their TV.
"@TIDAL why is your service being removed from Samsung TVs," one user wrote on X.
"This is how I use it the most."
All the ways you can stream Tidal
If you've just found out Tidal is disappearing from your TV - fear not.
There are ways you can work around this.
If you're an iPhone, iPad or Apple Mac owner, you can cast music from the device onto your Samsung TV using AirPlay.
Unfortunately for Google Android fans, Samsung TVs don't yet support Google Cast - so this hack is only for the Apple customers.
For Samsung lovers, it's slightly more complicated.
While Galaxy smartphone and tablet users can't cast music from the Tidal app to their TVs, they can use T. They will have to use a new feature called Tap Sound.
But because Tap Sound uses Bluetooth rather than Wi-Fi, high-res lossless audio won't be possible.
Alternatively, you can buy a Chromecast that will beam content from your phone or tablet to your TV screen.
