LEICESTER travel Stoke as the new Foxes boss Claude Puel looks for his second win in charge.

Puel overcame Everton in his first game in charge, but they go up against a Stoke side who went away to Watford in their last outing and impressively won 1-0.

What are the best odds and tips for Stoke vs Leicester?

  • Demari Gray to score first - 9/1

DEMARI GRAY is such an exciting player.

He got the second against Everton last week and this is how he will score against Stoke on Saturday.

As ever for Leicester, it all starts with Jamie Vardy.

He is so good at stretching the game, separating the midfield and defence by running towards goal.

And, as my graphic shows, that will open up space for Gray to drive into.

Gray has just signed a new contract and I reckon at 9/1 he is great value to cap off his week with the first goal at the Potters.

Stat attack

  • Stoke have never beaten Leicester at home in the Premier League in three attempts (D2 L1); the Potters’ last home league win against them came in March 2007, a 4-2 victory in the Championship.
  • The Foxes’ only defeat in six Premier League games against Stoke came in January 2015 at the King Power, losing 1-0 - they’ve won three and drawn two of the other six games.
  • Leicester City have come from two goals down to draw 2-2 in each of their last two Premier League visits to the bet365 Stadium, one of only seven instances of a team coming from two or more goals behind to draw or win on two separate occasions away from home at a single club.
  • These two sides have the third (Leicester City – 41.0%) and second (Stoke – 37.8%) lowest average possession figures in the Premier League this season; only WBA (35.3%) have averaged lower.
  • Stoke haven’t managed back-to-back wins in the Premier League since January, with the first of their two wins back then coming against Watford.
  • As Saints boss last season, Claude Puel won four of his final seven away games in the Premier League (D1 L2), with those two defeats coming against the final top two (Chelsea and Tottenham).
  • Mame Biram Diouf has scored in three of his last four Premier League games (three goals) – as many as in his previous 52 appearances in the competition.
  • Jamie Vardy has found the net in three of his last four Premier League appearances against Stoke; scoring three goals including the equaliser in the 2-2 draw in September 2015.
  • Vardy has netted six goals in his 10 Premier League appearances this season – four more than he had at this stage in 2016-17. He’s just two goals shy of becoming the first player to score 50 Premier League goals for Leicester City.
  • Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy have combined for a goal (one player assisting for the other) just five times in the Premier League since they won the title. In the title-winning campaign of 2015-16, they combined for eight goals.
