NATE DIAZ has BEATEN Jorge Masvidal after 10 brutal rounds in California.

Diaz got his revenge for their last bout five years ago in the UFC, with Masvidal winning their grudge match for the BMF title.

The 39-year-old was victorious by way of a split decision, with the judges scoring the bout 95-95, 97-93 and 98-92.

When asked what was next, Diaz called out Jake Paul for a blockbuster rematch - and he also said he has his sights set on Leon Edwards.

  • Daniel Jacobs vs Shane Mosley Jr. (Round 4)

Mosely Jr keeps throwing a two jab combo.

In the main he has had little success with it but at the start of the round both punches get through the defence of Jacobs.

Daniel Jacobs made his comeback to get into the boxing hall of fame after beating cancer, his cornerman tells him he needs to up his game he wants to achieve that.

  • Daniel Jacobs vs Shane Mosley Jr. (Round 3)

While Shane Mosely Jr seems the more active, he needs to start doing some damage with his punches.

It is all well and good to throw your arms around but at some point you are just as effective as a 'tube guy' outside a car showroom.

All Mosely Jr is doing right now is seeming to land punches to score on the card and win rounds.

With it being ten rounds, you wonder whether Jacobs is conserving his energy for the latter rounds.

  • Daniel Jacobs vs Shane Mosley Jr. (Round 2)

Mosley Jr looks the quicker of the two boxers and most certainly has the quicker hand speed.

His main problem is that despite throwing more punches, they are not really affecting Jacobs.

He is showing his experience, watching the style of his opponent and looking to bide his time when he lets his hands go.

It almost seems like he is waiting for Mosely Jr to come in before he hits him with the sucker punch.

  • Daniel Jacobs vs Shane Mosley Jr. (Round 1)

Jacobs makes a conservative approach to the fight,

Mosley Jr is looking to let his hands go more out of the two fighters.

Despite this, he has only landed three of those punches in the round.

    Plenty of airshots.

This one is scheduled for ten rounds.

  • Daniel Jacobs vs Shane Mosley Jr.

Next up we have a fight between two boxers have a record for knockouts in their career.

Jacobs known as the 'miracle man' is 37-years-old and has fought some health issues to get back in this ring.

Mosley Jr is the younger fighter, with height and reach in his favour.

  • Avila wins via points decision

The biggest cheer from the crowd was this fight ending.

Spectators in the Honda Arena may have seen more excitement at the bar getting more beers.

Up until this one, we had seen a good undercard tonight.

With two fights remaining tonight, we can only hope for more action than we have just seen.

  • Chris Avila beats Anthony Pettis by unanimous decision

  • Chris Avila vs Anthony Pettis (Round 6)

Sometimes you see a fight that will be talked about for years, this is not that.

The fans are getting frustrated towards the end for what seemed, at best, an exhibition match.

This just looked like two people fighting who are not boxers.

  • Chris Avila vs Anthony Pettis (Round 5)

Both boxers are trying to land big blows in the round.

Once again Avila catches Pettis more but it seems more a slap than a punch.

Pettis seems to have less in the tank as we head into the last round.

  • Chris Avila vs Anthony Pettis (Round 4)

Pettis needs to do something special to win this fight.

Despite the crossover to boxing he still seems to have the stance of someone fighting in the MMA.

Avila has landed far more punches and has outboxed his opponent.

If it goes to the card, this should be a routine win for Chris Avila.

  • Chris Avila vs Anthony Pettis (Round 3)

The fight starts to open up a little more.

As both fighters try to land jabs, they have their guards down.

It means they can land head shots with ease.

What odds on a double knockout here, that is something you rarely see in this sport.

Then again you do not often see hammer punches thrown from above their heads in boxing but both are trying to utilise this.

  • Chris Avila vs Anthony Pettis (Round 2)

Sibley Scoles is in the crowd this evening.

The LA Rams player seems to be enjoying what he has seen so far.

This one is failing to live up to the previous undercard fights where it actually looks like boxers fighting.

It seems like Pettis is trying to get in close to take Avila to the floor for a ground and pound.

That won't fly in this sport.

So far, this is like watching a Trump vs Biden debate, lots of intent but no real hits being landed at all by either man.

Towards the end of the round Avila lands a punch finally that seems to rock Pettis.

Sadly the bell sounds and he cannot follow it up.

  • Chris Avila vs Anthony Pettis (Round 1)

This light heavyweight fight is scheduled for six rounds.

Pettis still looks like a MMA fighter as he reaches out with one hand towards his opponent.

The Honda Arena is a sell-out tonight and full to 15,000 capacity.

In the first round both fighters are trying to land jabs, Avila tries to go over the top with punches a few times but does not connect at all.

  • Chris Avila vs Anthony Pettis

    Another interesting fight ahead here.

Pettis fought Diaz in MMA but claims he 'let him get in his head' during his loss.

He faces Chris Avila this evening who is boxing out of the Diaz gym and Anthony Pettis sees this as a way to get one over Nate Diaz with a victory.

  • All money Moton seals win

It was an impressive performance by Curmel Moton.

He remains undefeated in his professional career with four wins and three knockouts.

The comparisons to Floyd Mayweather will continue, which is ironic as it is Mayweather who is dressed like an 18-year-old this evening.

  • Curmel Moton beats Nikolai Buzolin by TKO

  • Curmel Moton vs Nikolai Buzolin (Round 2)

Moton continues to land series of punches over and over.

Despite his young age, you can see Buzolin is feeling these hits.

It gets the the point where the referee has seen enough and he stops the fight as this is just one-way traffic.

  • Curmel Moton vs Nikolai Buzolin (Round 1)

Moton is full of confidence as the fight starts.

Buzolin is holding back and tryig to catch the youngster on the counter.

Curmel Moton lands a series of punches that seem to rock his opponent.

Nokolai Buzolin seems to have his guard down far too often and Curmel Moton is hurting him with his punches and sends him to the canvas.

The referee gives him an eight count just as the bell for the end of the round sounds.

  • Curmel Moton vs Nikolai Buzolin

Buzolin is twice the age of his opponent this evening.

He is hoping experience will be key in this six round fight.

Mayweather is in the ring with Moton, looking like a dad taking his son to his first sparring session.

  • Curmel Moton vs Nikolai Buzolin

Next up we have 18-year-old Curmel Moton.

He is being labelled as the next Floyd Mayweather, big shoes to fill.

The man himself is in the arena to see this prodigy, who boxes out of Mayweather's gym, do his stuff on the big stage.

  • Vargas makes lightning strike twice

The last time this pair met, as amateurs, Armando Vargas triumphed.

Tonight he took Sean Garcia's unbeaten professional record.

It was a deserved win, thrown in with some showboating, but Garcia had no answer for his quick hands and punches.

  • Armando Vargas beats Sean Garcia by TKO

  • Armando Vargas vs Sean Garcia (Round 6)

How Garcia is still standing is a huge credit to him.

Vargas sprays him with left and rights and all he can do is try and protect himself.

He comes back and throws an attacking combo but Vargas comes back and lands punch after punch on him.

The referee has seen enough and stops the fight.

  • Armando Vargas vs Sean Garcia (Round 5)

The break in between rounds seems to have done Garcia a huge favour.

It almost seems as though Vargas missed his chance to get this fight stopped in the last round.

Garcia looks like he has lost a lot out of the tank with all the punches that Vargas has landed.

Vargas starts to moonwalk in the middle of the ring trying to show everyone how easy he is finding this.

  • Armando Vargas vs Sean Garcia (Round 4)

Garcia starts the round landing some attacking shots.

It seems to spark Vargas into life and he goes in for the kill.

Vargas knocks Garcia to the canvas and he is given an eight-count.

This fight is here for the taking now for Vargas but he seems more interested in showboating and poking his tongue out to the crowd.
