DRIVEN TO SUCCESS

One of Raducanu's great passions in life is motorsport, visiting Silverstone to watch Sir Lewis Hamilton win the British Grand Prix in July 2021.

She loved go-karting and motocross as a child and continues to dabble in the sports during her spare time.

And she has become pals with the seven-time F1 champ, who has acted as a mentor during her rise.

Emma was quizzed about aspirations moving forward in 2023 and what she would love to do with her sponsor Porsche. She joked: “Compete in a race with Porsche?!”

Raducanu is also fond of horse riding, tap dancing, golf, skiing, basketball and football - cheering England at major tournaments.

She watched the Three Lions beat Denmark at Wembley in the Euro 2020 semi-final, and claimed the US Open title was coming 'home' after her win.

That is of course a reference to English football's famous "It's Coming Home" chant, which is heard in stadiums when the national team achieves.

She also attended the World Cup final in 2022 between Argentina and France, describing the occasion as "iconic", and is a Spurs fan.

During a pre-Wimbledon tournament hit, she also wore an England shirt to practice in. The fashionista matched it with a customised Christian Dior canvas book tote costing around £2,400.
