Samsung Galaxy S8 leaks show device in all its glory but it appears to be missing one very important feature

PICTURES circulating on social media appear to show Samsung's new smartphone ahead of its launch.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is set to be announced in March, but there has been lots of speculation over how it will look.

But these new pictures appear to confirm that the device will replace the familiar home button with a super-wide infinity screen.

It's the first time the new device has been seen with the screen turned on – revealing how the home page will appear.

The pictures show an extra front-facing camera on the left hand side which hints that Samsung's new model is focused on selfies.

The rumour mill is in overdrive as new pictures and features of the Samsung Galaxy S8 continue to “leak”.

So far, it's believed it will come with a larger display, a fingerprint sensor on the back of the device and a dedicated wireless charger.

The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge were launched early last year and feature Quad HD displays, waterproof design and a Dual 12 megapixel camera.

The S7 Edge trumped the iPhone in reviews and cleared up at several award ceremonies.

This latest device is expected to be unveiled on March 29.
