Cops hunt female e-scooter rider after she collided with toddler while riding on the pavement
A FEMALE e-scooter rider who collided with a toddler is being hunted by cops.
She was reportedly riding on the pavement when she struck the child in Grantham, Lincolnshire.
The rider fled the scene and is now being sought by investigators.
The child suffered a cut to the knee but was otherwise unharmed.
She is described as having long, brown hair tied in a ponytail and was wearing a dark jacket.
The scooter was dark grey.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: "We received a report that a toddler has been in collision with the e-scooter in New Beacon Road where it joins Harrrowby Lane in Grantham at around 12 noon on June 5.
"The e-scooter is reported to have been ridden on the pavement, and collided with the child.
"The rider did not leave any details with the people at the scene, and left in the direction of Harrowby Lane."
Anyone with information is urged to contact the force on 101, quoting reference 192 of June 5.

What are the rules on e-scooters?
E-scooters are legal to buy in the UK but privately bought ones are not allowed on public roads.
Only scooters rented through a government-approved scheme can be used on the roads and in cycle lanes.
To rent one, you will need a category AM, A or B full or provisional drivers licence.
It is not legal to ride them on the pavement.
If you own your scooter, it must be insured but if you rent it, the provider covers this.
