Woman in her 40s and man in his 30s killed in North Thoresby crash after black BMW convertible and van collide on A16

TWO people were killed in a crash on the A16 in Lincolnshire yesterday morning.

A man in his 30s and a woman in her 40s died at the scene following the smash near North Thoresby.

Police said a black BMW convertible and a grey Transit van collided at about 9.04am on Monday.

Cops are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to contact them on 101 quoting incident reference number 90 of April 24.

One passer-by told GrimsbyLive: "Members of the public were distraught leaving the scene.

"Sheets were on all vehicles."
