SUPERMODEL Karlie Kloss won't be voting for Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election despite being Ivanka's sister-in-law.

Karlie, 27, disclosed her political views after a Project Runway contestant commented on her ties to senior presidential advisor Jared Kushner.

Speaking to Andy Cohen on his show Watch What Happens Live, Karlie - who is married to Jared's younger brother, Joshua Kushner - referred to herself as an "open book."

Karlie welcomed any questions Andy had about her family on Thursday night's episode.

She said: “I’m sure I’m not the only person in this country who does not necessarily agree with their family on politics.

“I voted as a Democrat in 2016, and I plan to do the same thing in 2020."

On Project Runway's January 2 episode, contestant Tyler Neasloney had designed a dress for Karlie to wear to the Council of Fashion Designers of America event in Paris.

The challenge was to create a look with thrift clothing from a Goodwill store.

But the dress wasn't up to par with any of the judges' tastes, leading Brandon Maxell - a designer and judge on the show - to admit he couldn't see Karlie "wearing it anywhere."

Tyler responded: "Not even to dinner with the Kushners?"

Later on in the show he proceeded to apologize to Karlie: “I want you to know that I’m not a jerk; I’m professional.

“What I said earlier had no hidden agenda, no meaning, no nothing like that.”

Tyler was eliminated from the show.

Karlie recalled the memorable incident to Andy: “I was honored to be one of the first memes of the decade.

"But honestly, the real tragedy of this whole thing is that no one is talking about how terrible that dress was.

"That’s why he went home. No, I would not wear that dress to any dinner."

In 2016, Karlie openly supported Hillary Clinton in a photo she shared to Instagram.

It was captioned: "One of the greatest privileges we have as Americans is a voice. I’m proud to say I did my part, now it’s your turn. #ImWithHer."

Karlie and her husband, 34-year-old Joshua Kushner, tied the knot in upstate New York in 2018 after more than six years of dating.

The couple has kept mostly quiet about their personal lives and their relations to the Trump family.

But a day after Trump’s inauguration in January 2017, Karlie and Joshua attended the Women’s March in Washington D.C.

In March 2019, a book was published about Jared and Ivanka’s “infamous rise to power."

The book, Kushner Inc, revealed that the Kushners banned the Project Runway host from attending family events for more than six years.

When discussing her relationship to Andy on Thursday's show, Karlie said: "My man and I have been through a lot together, and I'm so proud that he's my partner.

"It's not been easy, but it's worth it, and I would make that same decision a million times again."
