The rules say you need a white front and yellow back plate, the lettering must be in black and in a font called Charles Wright 2001 and the spacing between the characters must be correct.

You aren't allowed decorative fonts, bolts that alter the way a character reads, different spacings or additional symbols or logos.

So how about treating yourself to the plate ORG 45M, which is currently on sale at Regtransfers.co.uk for an incredible £150,000.

That's more than some supercars, but it'd certainly help turn even more heads as you drive down the high street.

Or what about F15 TME? We're not sure it's for everybody, but if you are keen on it you'll need £11,246 to buy it.

To be fair, that is currently on offer, with 25% off.

If that's not your cup of tea, how about P7 SSY? It's a relative steal at 'only' £7,495 and probably has the same impact out on the road.

B19 N0B is pricey at £8,995, but maybe AR51 DLE might do the trick for a much more reasonable £1,875.

If you're struggling to find a present for that neighbour you don't much like, there's always N051 FKR for £5,996.

While F11 KCU is probably a little bit aggressive at any price, let alone £3,745.
