TESCO Clubcard holders can get hold of 36 products for less this week - and they're all ideal for Father's Day.

The UK's largest supermarket is offering loyalty scheme shoppers discounts worth up to 55% off.

Sons and daughters can snap up all kinds of tech and BBQ essentials ahead of the big day next Sunday.

But bear in mind the prices are for Clubcard holders only, which means you'll have to sign up if you want to access them.

The retailer is selling a Braun Series 5 electrical shaver for £60 instead of £130 - a 55% discount.

Meanwhile, shoppers can bag a fire pit for £104 instead of £139, a 50-pack of bamboo skewers for 75p instead of £1 and BBQ gloves for £2.25 rather than £3.

Clubcard holders can also get a burger press for £2.60 instead of £3.50 and plastic BBQ tool set for £2.25 instead of £3.

You can download the Clubcard loyalty scheme for free on to your smart phone via Google Play or the Apple App Store.

You can also pick up a physical card in your nearest Tesco branch, which can be found using the retailer's store locator tool.

Tesco said all 36 products will be available in-store but not online, with the offers in place until June 16.

Of course, when buying anything like this, remember to shop around to make sure you're getting the best deal.

Just because Tesco has cut the cost on dozens of its items, that doesn't mean you won't get a better price elsewhere.

How to find the best bargains at the supermarket

Websites like Trolley.co.uk and Price Spy let you compare the price of thousands of products across different retailers.

You can use the Google Shopping/Product tab to find out how much a certain item is selling for across the internet too.

We checked out a couple of the Tesco items to see if you can get them cheaper elsewhere.

Most of the BBQ items are Tesco's own-brand so you can't make an exact comparison for those.

But we did find the Braun Series 5 shaver selling for the same price as Tesco on the Braun website and it comes with free standard delivery.

Meanwhile, Boots is selling the Philips Series S3144 wet and dry shaver for £50 - £5 less than Tesco.

If the Tesco deals don't take your fancy there's plenty of other retailers running Father's Day offers.

Aldi has added a number of Specialbuys to its middle aisle this week including a beer dispenser for £25.

Shops offering lower prices to loyalty scheme customers

  • Sainsbury's - Nectar has more than 18 million members who receive access to 100s of exclusive lower prices in Sainsbury’s every week, as well as personalised savings based on their shopping history.
  • Morrisons - The retailer's More loyalty programme gives customers access to exclusive lower prices in store and online.
  • Boots - The Boots Advantage Card gives shoppers access to lower prices on thousands of products.
  • Robert Dyas - The retailer's MyDyas scheme lets customers access lower prices across a number of different products.

There's also an electric shaver on offer for £20 and aftershave for £7.

Wilko has also launched a suitcase-style grill for £31.50 and it's nearly £50 cheaper than a similar-style one from John Lewis.

Boots has also slashed the price of some of its fragrances by 20%.

How does Tesco's Clubcard work?

You earn points as you shop, which can then be turned into vouchers for money off food or with Reward partners.

You earn one point for each £1 spent, and each point is then worth 1p.

So 150 points gets you £1.50, and you would have to spend £150 to get 150 points.

You need a minimum of 150 points to request a voucher.

Any vouchers are worth their face value when used in-store at Tesco.

But you can double their worth by spending them at one of the supermarket chain's partners.

Any Clubcard points turned into vouchers expire after two years.

Clubcard holders can also access lower prices on certain products through Clubcard Prices.
