YouTuber Safiya Nygaard challenges herself to wear the ‘ugliest swimsuit in the world’ for a day… with hilarious results
Members of the public had very mixed reactions to the unconventional clothing item
A BIZARRE swimsuit decorated with a man's hairy chest has been causing a stir online for all the wrong reasons.
Saifya Nygaard decided to test out the clothing item, which has been dubbed "the ugliest swimsuit in the world".

The US YouTuber challenged herself to wear the swimming costume all day long.
After taking a peek at the hairy chest garment, Saf said: "It almost looks like modern art, it's making a statement but I don't know what it is...
"I feel both like I'm playing a fun practical joke but also like I'm definitely going to get kicked out of places."

Surprisingly, not too many passers-by noticed the daring beachwear item when Saf paired it with normal clothes.
But heads immediately started turning when she stripped down to the swimsuit on the coast.
As soon as she stepped onto the sand, she noticed another beachgoer burst into laughter.

His girlfriend, Nadia, then came over to deliver her verdict on the swimsuit.
She agreed that it had to be the ugliest ever design, before adding that it looked like Saf had "s*** herself" in the crotch region.
While many saw the funny side of the bonkers chest hair tribute, not everyone was happy with Safiya's experiment.

Saf explained: "I think something about wearing the swimsuit totally exposed did get me a couple of stink eyes from some parents.
"I think there's a couple of people who are upset over there... yeah I'm actually getting some stares."
Despite this, the popular YouTuber defended the bathing suit, insisting that there was nothing wrong with the body hair aspect.

Thankfully, not everyone was offended by the bold fashion choice.
One passer-by remarked: "I think it's great", while another added: "Amazing."
Saf summed it up by saying: "Yeah, it's not a very attractive bathing suit, but it's also hilarious.
"So it has more of a sense of humour than any of the other ugly clothing items...
"I feel like a lot of people were enjoying it."
