Mums can’t get enough of a super cheap 6-person tent at Argos – but you’ll have to be quick

MUMS are raving about a six-person tent on sale at Argos, which is perfect for family camping trips. 

Taking to social media, one woman alerted people of the sale after noticed the £115 tent was scanning for a much cheaper price at the till.

“6 person tent for £85 in Argos got good reviews too,” the woman wrote with a thumbs up emoji. “Comes with 1 year guarantee”. 

Sharing a snap of the tent online, viewers could see the camping essential had been reduced down to £85, saving people £30. 

The Pro Action 6 Person 3 Room Tunnel Camping Tent features a mosquito net, separate groundsheet and comes with all the pegs and ropes needed to secure it down. 

The spacious tent has two windows, three lantern hanging points, a fire retardant double skin with taped seams and it’s waterproof too.

At least two people are required to set it up and with a total of 4.5/5 stars from 249 reviewers, it looks like that’s not a big issue for many. 

Mums shared their thoughts on the tent on the Argos website as well, with one person sharing: “Brought for my kids to use in the garden for summer sleepovers and they all love it.”

Another posted: “Bought in May for a month long camping trip in June for one adult and 4 children. 

“Fairly easy to put up and take down. Survived two storms with heavy rain and strong winds.

"Kept its shape, no leaks, no rips and easy to wipe clean. (Bird mess).”

And a third said: “I took this on holiday for a week with five of my children, there was enough room for us all (just) and it was easy to put up and pack away. 

“Very pleased with my purchase,” followed by a smiling emoji. 

Upon seeing the post on Facebook’s Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group as well as the raving reviews, people were convinced it would be a smart buy too. 

Tagging their partner, one person wrote: “Things of the adventures!”. 

Another person wrote: “I paid £115 a few weeks ago and was happy with that so£ 85 Is amazing. Very spacious”.

While a third person tagged a friend to say: “That’s good!” to which they replied: “We ordered one yesterday."
