I’m constantly being stalked by a woman I went on one date with

DEAR DEIDRE: Every day I live in constant fear because of my stalker.

No matter where I go or what I do, I know I’m being watched and it’s slowly ruining my life.

I’m a 41-year-old man and my stalker is a 42-year-old woman that I went on one date with.

When we matched she seemed perfectly normal but within the first hour of meeting I sensed something was off.

She started telling me how much she liked me and kept referencing personal things, I knew I hadn’t told her.

After that, I made it clear that I wasn’t interested but it didn’t take long before she started blowing up my phone. I received hundreds of calls and texts before I finally blocked her.

I thought it would end there but she started to appear wherever I went. Whether she was ‘accidentally’ bumping into me in my local coffee shop or catching the same train, I started to see her everywhere.

I did my best to ignore it until one day I spotted her walking past my house. Ever since she has been relentless.

At this point I can’t leave the house without feeling her eyes on me and I know no matter where I go she’ll be there.

I’ve tried to tell her to leave me alone but she refuses to listen.

Now my mental health is at an all-time low and my anxiety is through the roof.

Please help.

DEIDRE SAYS: Being stalked is a serious matter and it can be incredibly frightening.

If this woman will not leave you alone, despite the fact you’ve told her you’re not interested, then it’s time to take this seriously and report it for your own safety.

It will help you to start to record the time, nature and place of any incidents with her.
