Colan is senior features reporter for the Scottish Sun. With a passion for exclusive stories, Colan sources real life tales for a broad range of sections such as Fabulous, News, TV and Showbiz. His journey began at Glasgow Caledonian University where he studied Multimedia Journalism. During that time, he established himself as a freelance writer for publications and websites such as the Scottish Sun - where he landed a Mel Gibson front page exclusive - as well as Sky Sports, Eurosport, NFL UK, the Daily Record and Sunday Mail. After graduating, Colan joined the Paisley Daily Express as a reporter in 2015 before moving to the Scottish Sun permanently to join the features desk and work news shifts for the Sunday edition. He later took on an increased digital role and set numerous page view records for the Scottish Sun. Now working across both print and digital, Colan is at the forefront of efforts to grow traffic across a range of sections.
