‘Dropping like flies’: Harry and Meghan ‘losing Hollywood friends’

Paul Burrel, the former butler of Princess Diana, claims that Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle have been losing touch with their Hollywood friends.

Princess Diana’s former butler, Paul Burrell, claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been losing touch with their friends in Hollywood, according to Closer. Burrell worked for Princess Diana until her death in 1997.

“Harry and Meghan’s circle is getting smaller and smaller,” Burrell told the publication. 

Burrell went on to say that the A-list stars have been dropping like flies. He also mentioned that talk show “queen” Oprah Winfrey, no longer seemed involved with the couple among other celebrities who allegedly dropped them.

“I think the A-list stars are dropping like flies. Some already have done — Oprah [Winfrey] no longer seems involved with them and some other celebrities have also dropped them,” he added.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex quit their duties as senior working members of the royal family in 2020. The pair then moved to Montecito, California, and started a new life with their two kids – Prince Archie (5) and Princess Lilibet (3). After quitting their royal duties, the pair sat down for an interview with talk show queen, Oprah Winfrey where they dropped bombshell allegations about the royal family.

“Back in the day, the A-listers were riding on the moment — Harry and Meghan were the most popular couple in the country at one time, when they got married, but there’s since been a decline,” he said.

The publication also reported that several Hollywood stars “turned down recent invites” from the Sussexes. These stars reportedly include couples – George and Amal Clooney as well as Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom.

THE DUKE LOOKING FOR ‘PERMANENT’ HOME IN THE UK?

This comes after royal author Tom Quinn claimed that Prince Harry was looking for a permanent home in the UK. Quinn claims that Prince Harry misses his army and college friends, who have allegedly not visited him in the US because “they don’t get on with Meghan.”

“Inevitably, the honeymoon period where everything in the [United] States is new and exciting is coming to an end and Harry is looking back at the past through rose-tinted spectacles,” said Quinn to The Mirror.

“Harry is determined to find his own permanent home in the UK, which is partly why he’s continuing his legal action to get the British taxpayer to pay for his security,” he told publication.

This also comes after a report claims that King Charles asked Prince Harry to stop leaking details of the royal family’s private life.
