Two Love Island girls locked in bitter secret feud over new business

LOVE Island favourites Tanya Manhenga and Whitney Adebayo have gone head to head with wig businesses.

The pair are locked in a bitter feud after Tanya announced her new company - leaving Whitney blindsided.

Whitney had her wig company before she entered the Love Island villa, which she has continued to work on – and Tanya even featured in the relaunch campaign.

An insider said:   “Wigs have always been Whitney’s thing so it was a bit of a surprise when Tanya announced she was doing the same.

“The move has certainly raised eyebrows and while Whitney is acting supportive, beneath the surface things are a bit frosty.”

Tanya announced her new venture yesterday – Tayslaywigs - telling fans: “EXCITED TO FINALLY ANNOUNCE. I AM THE FOUNDER OF @tayslaywigsss.

“@tayslaywigsss has been a passion of mine for 4 years and although my life has changed in many ways, it was always been my plan to grow the business and now by the grace of God I am in a position to do so.

“We have so many exciting things coming and I can’t wait to share them with you all. THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING!!.”

She was inundated with support from her fellow Islanders, including boyfriend Shaq Mohammed who told her has ‘so” proud.

Whitney did comment “love” on the post, but was said to be surprised to see it even featured their fellow islanders – Summer Botwe and Samie Elishi.

Whitney started her wig business when she was at university and relaunched it last year with a star studded campaign.

She said at the time:  “I’ve been in the hair industry for five years now, it’s a beautiful art that’s somehow slipped under the radar.

“It’s more than just hair, it’s an umbrella complex that slips into the everyday lives of many. My goal is to highlight this world for the credit that it deserves.”

However it seems she has put her business on hold for the time being as her website is currently not operating.

Whitney’s rep has been contacted for comment.
