LOVE Island has been removed from its usual time slot tonight in a schedule shake-up.

The popular dating game show returned for its 11th series on June 3, with episodes typically airing from 9pm on ITV1 each night.

However, this evening's England vs Slovenia UEFA Euro football coverage means Love Island fans will need to change their viewing habits.

Instead, the latest episode will air on ITV2, at 10pm.

Other shows have also been affected, such as Emmerdale being off air for tonight and each of EastEnders' episodes this week pushed back by one day.

Meanwhile, The One Show will air for just 20 minutes tonight on BBC Two.

With three weeks already completed, this season of Love Island has already proven to be unique.

A twist saw The Only Way Is Essex alum Joey Essex join the show as a bombshell at the end of Day 1.

The 33-year-old, who has also appeared in Celebs Go Dating and Dancing on Ice, is the first celebrity to appear on the revived iteration of Love Island.

Fans have suggested Joey could have been 'planted' onto the show by producers.

It comes after he and Grace were saved from being dumped from the TV villa in a shock double axing.

It was noticed how Joey and Grace, 25, didn't come up in conversation as the couples decided on who should leave the show.

Another change to the show's format saw the islanders unknowingly determine the couples.

They took part in a challenge in which they were required to rank themselves from who has "Most to Least" boyfriend/girlfriend material.

Meanwhile, viewers have been left convinced that Casa Amor 'is happening next week' after spotting a 'clue'.

The annual twist is a staple of the show, which sees a group of islanders leave the villa and join a second one.

Once there, they're introduced to new bombshells and can choose to take them back to the main villa - which can cause shocking waves for couples.

Love Island - latest dumpings

LOVE Island was rocked by a shock double dumping this weekend. Yet who left?

IT was woe for two bombshells Omar Nyame and Tiffany Leighton, both 25, who were evicted courtesy of their housemates.

Sunday's double dumping saw the pair selected for failing to find lasting connections in the villa.

It came just hours after Tiffany had confessed there was "something missing" with Ronnie Vint.

Yet viewers threatened to call Ofcom when Omar was promptly booted out shortly after his spat with Joey Essex, 33.

Taking to social media, one fan speculated: "But last season wasn’t it the Ne - Yo performance on the Friday and then the girls got sent to Casa at the end of the episode.

"It might be a dumping cliffhanger on Thursdays episode , then it’s shown on at the start of Fridays episode."

Another remarked: "I'm assuming Casa is coming on either Friday or Sunday this week."

Love Island is available to watch on ITVX.
