'The Celtic Fans' Survey 2024' is open with fans all across the globe invited to give their thoughts on all matters Hoops.

The poll focuses primarily on fans' match day experiences, whether they go to games or follow along from wherever they are.

There are questions on digital season tickets, ticket office improvements and the match day catering.

Hoops fans are also quizzed on whether or not they like to go to the pub before or after games - and if the new Celtic Park sports bar could be an option going forward.

Early on in the survey comes an issue that's been high on the agenda on Celtic fans' discourse for some time.

That is the issue of safe standing at Celtic Park.

In 2016, the Parkhead club became the first in the UK to create a safe standing section and there has been a sizeable demand for more of that since.

Just a few weeks ago, it was revealed that Celtic had submitted an application to Glasgow City Council to install a second area of rail seating at Celtic Park.

And in the survey, Celtic float the idea of FURTHER safe standing at the stadium.

It seems that the club are certainly open to the idea of a Parkhead transformation to increase safe standing facilities.

Questions look to gauge punters' interest in moving to a safe standing section and, indeed, if they'd be willing to be relocated in order to make room for new safe standing areas.

The first question on the matter asks: "If in the future the Club was to consider installing further safe standing facilities at Celtic Park (subject to feasibility and other relevant factors), would you be interested in moving into a safe standing section at Celtic Park?"

Fans are invited to answer 'Yes', 'No' or 'my ticket is already in safe standing.'

That's followed be a second question, which asks: "If in the future the Club was to consider installing further safe standing facilities at Celtic Park, and given that the limited capacity at Celtic Park would most likely mean the conversion of an area of standard seats within the stadium, would you be open to your current seat being relocated to another part of the stadium to accommodate further safe standing facilities?"

'Yes,' 'no' and 'open to remaining in the further safe standing facility' are the options available to answer from here.

Hoops ultras group the Green Brigade have been at the forefront pushing for further safe standing at Celtic Park.

They want to see a radical change at the stadium that would see the entire Jock Stein Stand behind one of the goals turned into a standing area.

The group have labelled it 'The Celtic End' and have likened it to Borussia Dortmund's Yellow Wall and Liverpool's famous Kop.

'The Celtic End' was trialled at two women's matches in 2023 but wasn't brought back at the end of the recent campaign.

Following the publication of the survey, the Green Brigade have urged all fans to complete it and 'answer favourably' the questions regarding safe standing.

The group are urging supporters to throw their weight behind the goal end safe standing idea and to make it known.

Taking to X, they said: "We encourage all Celtic supporters to complete the Celtic fans' survey 2024 which has been launched today by the club.

"For fans who enjoy the Celtic Park atmosphere and value the positive impact this has on the team, we encourage you to answer favourably to questions related to safe standing sections.

"A goal end standing section will transform the Celtic Park atmosphere for the better and give the team stronger, more consistent support from the stands. This survey is an opportunity to prove to the club that there is significant demand for this to happen.

"Within the survey, there are two questions related specifically to safe standing. If you support the introduction of a goal end standing section then please answer 'YES' to both questions.

"There are an additional two questions related to improving Celtic Park facilities and enhancing this match day experience. Please refer to a 'GOAL END STANDING SECTION' in your answer."

Meanwhile, building work has started right OUTSIDE Celtic Park.

Back in February, the Hoops applied to install security gates and fencing, as well as changes to existing fencing and new access steps.
