Barcelona, Juventus and Atletico Madrid are also keen on the 22-year-old.

But despite so much interest from richer rivals, Getafe publicly insist they believe their star loanee will stay with them until "at least January".

Nonetheless, reports in Spain reckon the mid-table LaLiga club are also weighing up a bid for Real Sociedad's Umar Sadiq.

The Nigerian frontman, 27, is under contract until 2028 but has struggled to regain his best form since an ankle injury two years ago.

And this season he has scored just three goals in 36 games across LaLiga, the Spanish Cup and the Europa League.

That faltering form means Sociedad boss Imanol now prefers Portugal star Andre Silva and Sheraldo Becker to Sadiq in attack.

However, Getafe are rated as major admirers of the ex-Roma star.

And that strengthens suggestions that their chances of retaining Greenwood are weaker than they'd hope.
