  • EXCLUSIVE: Manchester battle for Olise

Pep Guardiola will fight Erik ten Hag all the way in the chase for Crystal Palace sensation Michael Olise.

Man Utd are keen on the Frenchman as a flagship arrival of the new Sir Jim Ratcliffe era at Manchester United.

But money will be no object as City will throw £60million or more at the Palace star, who limped off in the 4-1 defeat at Brighton, in the next window.

Olise rejected a move to Chelsea in favour of staying at Selhurst Park in the summer.

  • Phillips is 'fuming'

That's according to Roy Keane who thinks Kalvin Phillips would have been furious at being named on the West Ham bench against Manchester United.

Keane said on Sky Sports: "From the player's point of view I think he'd be fuming.

"You go to get some games, he played 70 minutes, he's a sitting midfielder, you use your intelligence there in terms of when to sprint and when to sit in.

"Obviously David Moyes will be worried about it in terms of picking up an injury quickly but from the player's point of view, he has to get minutes under his belt, he has to get games.

"Remember he's on loan from City, he's going to Old Trafford and now he's sitting on the bench.

"Obviously David Moyes is an experienced manager but I think from the player's point of view, he'll be fuming."

  • Liverpool were never going to sign Mbappe

Without knowing who the club's manager will be next term it was unlikely for Mbappe to make the move to Anfield.

The PSG superstar is set to announce his deal with Real Madrid.

And for Liverpool to have grabbed the Frenchman would require the Reds to break the bank to match Los Blancos' price tag.

Only a surprise about-turn from Mbappe would be the only thing to keep him from Madrid now.

  • Silva's wife wants Poch out

The wife of Chelsea defender Thiago Silva appears to have called on manager Mauricio Pochettino to be sacked.

Speaking on X, formerly known as Twitter, she said: "It’s time to change.
