Nicola Sturgeon’s sister joked cop probe was ‘good advertising’ for her job as medium
NICOLA Sturgeon’s sister joked that a cop probe at the ex-First Minister’s home was “good advertising” for her job as a medium.
Gillian Sturgeon, 48, made the gag after posting a doctored pic of her reading tarot cards behind a crime scene cordon at the former SNP leader’s pad.
The fake snap shows her next to a police tent with the words “Madam Gillian Tarot Reading” on the side — and a dog peeing on a car.
The image was previously used by social media trolls after the arrest of Ms Sturgeon’s husband Peter Murrell at the Glasgow property.
But Gillian re-posted it on her Facebook page, telling her followers: “This is what those morons are reduced to.”
She added: “Good advertising tho’.” In another post, the mum of two hit out at online creeps, saying: “The crystal ball jokes are wearing thin. Maybe go and read a book — widen your vocabulary and imagination.”

The original crime scene photo was taken when officers swooped on Ms Sturgeon and Mr Murrell’s house earlier this month.
Police Scotland had set up a large tent over the front door as part of their investigations.
Cops searched the home, plus the SNP headquarters in Edinburgh, while the party’s former chief exec was questioned by detectives for nearly 12 hours as part of their probe into fraud claims.
He was released without charge “pending further investigation”.

It is not the first time Gillian, of Irvine, Ayrshire — who also works as a beauty consultant — has been mocked on social media as a result of her tarot readings.
We previously told how the mystic hit out at “sad” pranksters behind a fake account on Twitter which uses her profile image.
Imposters running the account have also posted doctored snaps of the former First Minister captioned with crude remarks and jibes.
