Over £1.5M awarded to organisations across Scotland in May

We are delighted to announce our latest funding recipients, with 60 organisations awarded over £1.5M to support their work to prevent poverty and trauma across Scotland.

£1,513,500 was awarded to 60 organisations in May 2024, with a success rate of 81%. If you would like to receive our award announcements directly to your inbox, please sign up to our mailing list.

Currently, our funding is aimed at constituted community groups and registered charities who are working to alleviate poverty and trauma in Scotland, and who have an annual income of under £2 million. We have four funds under our strategy: Wee Grants, Small Grants, Large Grants, and Community Vehicles.

Each of the organisations below demonstrated in their application how their work is contributing to the alleviation of poverty and trauma in Scotland.

Important Information

Later this year, we will be introducing adjustments to the structure of Our Funds.

So that we can make the necessary changes to our communications, applications, monitoring forms and guidance, we are currently closed to new applications and will be reopening with the new look version of Our Funds in September 2024.

This will include changes to the income thresholds and maximum award sizes available through our Wee and Small Grants. Our maximum Wee Grant award will increase from £2,000 to £5,000, and our maximum Small Grant will increase from £15,000 to £20,000. We look forward to sharing more detail over the Summer, including what is in and out of scope for funding through our themes.

As a result of the pausing of Our Funds, we are currently experiencing a high volume of calls, emails and new applications. Our Funding team are continuing to work hard to respond to enquiries and assess applications within our published deadlines, but if there are any changes to this we'll notify applicants on an individual basis.

For more information and detail on what this means for applicants, please see our latest updates >
