A FAMILY-RUN estate agents founded more than 30 years ago has opened the doors of its newest office.

Carver Residential, which was launched in 1991, has reinforced its commitment to Richmond by moving its branch to a prime location overlooking the marketplace.

Branch manager, Sharon Redhead, said: “We’re very pleased to be here in the new office. With a lovely view over our market place, the window is fantastic to display the properties we have for sale.

“We’ve already had a lot more footfall to the new office, and it’s lovely to welcome new and existing clients.  Richmond is a lovely place to be. Having sold properties in a number of towns in the North East, this is the nicest market town I’ve worked in and it’s lovely to see the beautiful villages surrounding it!”

Since it moved to the town more than 15 years ago, the real estate group has become part of the local community, sponsoring local initiatives like nearby Richmond Town FC.

The new office is located at 41 Market Place in Richmond, directly between two pubs – the Golden Lion and The Bishop Blaize – much to the delight of the team.

Director James Carver said: “We’ve been in Richmond for more than 15 years, and we’re delighted to have a really experienced team with fantastic local knowledge.

“This is our third office in Richmond, and we’re overjoyed to refresh our commitment to the people of the town and surrounding area, present and future.”
