SZA is having a jam-packed summer — she just headlined Glastonbury and confirmed that her highly-anticipated new album, Lana, is on the way. But even with a full schedule, the R&B icon has time to feed the gays. During a recent appearance on the hit YouTube interview show Chicken Shop Date, SZA brought queers across the internet to their knees during a cheeky exchange about strapping.

It all started when Chicken Shop Date host Amelia Dimoldenberg shared that her goal for the year is to “get more bendy.”

“In what way?” SZA asked, adding with a laugh, “Why was that immediately sexual to me?”

Dimoldenberg explained that she wants to be able to do the splits and put her leg by her ear, and SZA immediately thought up some scenarios in which the host could get there.

“You need a catalyst. Like, somebody to do it for you,” the singer said.

When Dimoldenberg suggested SZA herself, she exclaimed, “With a strap on?!”

“What? What are you talking about?” the Chicken Shop Host said, to which SZA wisely replied, “‘Cause why else would your legs be over your head?”

The “Kill Bill” singer used to be a gymnast — clearly, she knows a thing or two about getting bendy! The fact that her mind immediately went to strapping anyway? Well, that feels like a gift from the sapphic gods.

“SZA tryna SZAAAAAA,” one fan commented on a Chicken Shop Date TikTok documenting the exchange.

“AMELIA DON’T ASK WHAT,” another viewer wrote. “IT’S SZA!! ASK WHEN AND WHERE.”

SZA’s hypothetical strapping ideas aside, it’s an exciting time to be a fan of the Grammy winner. She recently shared a teaser of her upcoming album featuring a snippet from her new track “Storytime.” As if the promise of a brand-new SZA album weren’t enough, she’s also set to star in an Issa Rae-produced buddy comedy alongside Keke Palmer. We’re eating!
