As we all know, the most exciting part of any given awards ceremony is the outfits, and the 2022 Emmys are no exception. In addition to cheering for all the LGBTQ+ nominees this year, we're cheering on all the queer and trans celebs carrying the red carpet on their backs by turning looks. Here are just a few of our favorite queer red carpet looks from the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards, from Laverne Cox’s futuristic dress to a whole hive’s worth of Yellowjackets fashion.

What We Do in the Shadows heartthrob Harvey Guillén sported a jacket with some minimalist white detailing at the shoulders and a navy ribbon tie, not to mention the real star of the show: his very on-trend big pants. The outfit was designed by Daniel Velasco.

RuPaul further proved that leopard print is definitively having A Moment in a classy suit with burgundy accents. Michelle Visage was the perfect contrast, with an all-black ensemble featuring a dramatic tulle neckline.

It may be 80 degrees in Los Angeles, but that didn’t stop out gay comedian Jerrod Carmichael from rocking a cream fur coat over a bare chest, accented with a gold necklace and a silver sun-shaped pendant.

We’re not sure if this was a singular dress or three separate pieces, but we’re obsessed with Sarah Paulson’s geometric navy blue look.
