In addition to cheering for all the LGBTQ+ nominees this year, we're cheering on all the queer and trans celebs carrying the red carpet on their backs by turning looks. Here are just a few of our favorite queer red carpet looks from the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards, from Laverne Cox’s futuristic dress to a whole hive’s worth of Yellowjackets fashion.
Laverne Cox brought sci fi glam to the red carpet with a black and metallic silver dress that balanced suit-like sleeves with a larger-than-life silhouette at the hips.
Not only did comedian Megan Stalter alter our lexicon forever with “hi, gay” she breathed new life into the naked dress trend at the Emmys with a gorgeous crimson color scheme.
Jasmin Savoy Brown’s outfit was a master class in mixing metals, with a silvery cutout dress balanced with gold earrings, bracelets, and rings.
