Chacko Mathew

Chacko Mathew, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on June 25th, 2024.

Mathew was born on September 2nd, 1952, in Kerala, India. He spent his early years in Ernakulam, India, before emigrating to the United States in 1989. He settled in Lakeland, Florida, where he built a life filled with hard work, devotion, and love for his family. For 30 years, he was a valued and respected employee at Master Containers Inc. in Mulberry, FL. Alongside his job, he also successfully managed his own small business.

A devout believer, Mathew was known for his unwavering faith and dedication to those he cared for. He worked tirelessly to provide for his family and to ensure their well-being. His generosity, strength, and compassion were evident to all who knew him.

Mathew is survived by his loving wife Kunjumol, his two sons Philan(Saloni) and Allen(Shilpa) along with their families, and his sister Valsa John. He will be deeply missed by his loved ones and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A viewing service will take place on Friday, July 12th, at 6:30 p.m. at the India Pentecostal Church of Lakeland, FL. The Homegoing service will be held on Saturday, July 13th, at 9:00 a.m. at the same location.
