Roberta Colleen Harden Weeks of Mulberry, Florida went home to be with her Lord on June 30, 2024, at the age of 91.

Roberta was born in Nichols, Florida February 3, 1933, to Collie and Blanche (Irby) Harden. She grew up playing softball with three beautiful sisters and a brother that she loved so much. Roberta married Jerry Weeks on June 27, 1951, and was blessed with 73 years of marriage.

Roberta was affectionately known as Aunt Bea to so many children during her many years of babysitting. The name stuck and many still call her Aunt Bea today. She was funny, sweet and selfless. She was the most positive person no matter the situation. She loved fried shrimp more than anyone could imagine, and the beach was her favorite place. She loved sitting on her back porch watching birds, especially cardinals, and the cows grazing in the pasture. She loved working crossword puzzles and was an amazing country cook, especially her chicken and dumplings. But her favorite times were shopping and having lunch with the “girls”.

Roberta was a lady of Christian faith, loved her Lord, loved reading her Bible and was a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church in Plant City.

Roberta is survived by her husband of 73 years, Jerry Weeks, her girls Sharon Wheeler, Linda Gardner and Susan (Rocky) Bryan, granddaughter Caitlin Wheeler and lots of nieces, nephews and “bonus” children who called her Aunt Bea.

The family will receive friends Friday: July 5, 2024, at 10:30 A.M. at Seigler Funeral Home. Services will follow at 11:00 A.M.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice in Lakeland.
