Reduce GHG emissions by 14% (in relation to GHG emissions BAU levels (2015)) by 2030 conditional to external support and reduce GHG emissions by 1% (in relation to GHG emissions BAU levels (2015)) by 2030 unconditionally in sectors of energy, agriculture and waste.

Adaptation: Priority Areas of Intervention:

1) Increased water scarcity and reduced water quality – leading to increased hardship on rural livelihoods;

2) Increased drought frequency, increased temperatures, and changes in precipitation patterns – leading to degradation of agricultural lands, soils and terraces;

4) Reduced agricultural productivity – leading to increased food insecurity and reduced income generating activities + 3 other highlighted priority areas of intervention.
