On Sunday, Brad Pitt and his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, made their first public appearance at the British Grand Prix. The actor and the 34-year-old jewelry executive were spotted holding hands as they crossed the racetrack, both dressed in summery pastels. And what a fitting appearance it was. Pitt’s latest movie trailer debuted the same day. Can you guess what the movie is about? Formula 1, obviously. (F1 is set to release next summer.)
While rumors of romance between the two started last November at a Bono concert, the news of them together at the Grand Prix has solidified that they’re an official item — and quite serious, at that. A source told People that they live together, and there was even a mention of the L-word: “Things have been amazing since they moved in together. It’s more of a serious relationship than just dating.” The source also noted that they’ve been together for over a year.
It’s worth noting, and I’m sure that source would agree, that while Pitt is technically not divorced from Angelina Jolie, the pair have a bifurcated judgment, meaning they are free to marry other people while still figuring out all the finances of a divorce. However, the actual finalizations of the divorce seem to be far from over. That’s not stopping Jolie and their kids (multiple of whom have dropped Pitt’s last name) from keeping busy. It’s safe to say he’s claimed F1 for now, though.
