My friend, a gym rat and golfer, slipped in a Camarillo market when her rubber soled shoe caught on the polished floor.

It might have been worse if she hadn’t collided into a paper towel display.

Many people, including store employ­ees, walked by without offering assistance. Finally, a young man with a wife and two children came to her aide.

My friend’s shoulder was fractured.
