Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese is the first WNBA player to post a double-double in 10 consecutive games during a single season.

Reese, who holds the NCAA single-season double-double record, had seven points and 14 rebounds with under a minute left to play Sunday in the Sky's 70-62 loss to the Minnesota Lynx. But after rolling in a layup and sinking a free throw, she had her record-setting double-double, a 10-point, 16-rebound outing.

The former LSU star has now posted a double-double in 11 of the Sky's 17 games. This season, Reese is averaging 13.5 points, 11.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game while shooting 41% from the field.

With her Sunday performance, Reese also tied Las Vegas Aces superstar forward A'ja Wilson for the WNBA's highest rebounding average. Only four players in the league are grabbing at least 10 boards per game.

The Sky (6-11) are ninth in the WNBA standings. Its next game, a road contest against the Atlanta Dream, will tip off at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
