Whose idea was it to put decorative lighting on the Crescent City Connection? The traffic is horrendous. It takes me well over an hour to get to work in the morning.
How much money is this costing the taxpayers? City leaders should do something constructive for the city. Tackle crime, panhandling, potholes or flooding. Who cares about decorative lighting? I'm sure it will look great, then residents can go into the CBD and get mugged, murdered or lose their car in the flooded streets.
Who thinks of stuff like this? This city thinks nothing of the citizens. I can't wait to retire, and I'll never set foot in New Orleans again.
