Firefighters with the St. George Fire Department are on the scene of a hazardous materials incident, due to a gas line broken during construction on Bluebonnet Boulevard, between Jefferson and Airline highways, the fire department said shortly before noon Tuesday.
No street closures have been announced yet, the fire department said.
"We will continue to update as needed. Please avoid this area at this time," the fire department posted on its Facebook post.
