UPDATE: Victims identified in apparent murder-suicide in Livingston Parish that left 3 dead

A man, woman and juvenile were found dead Monday morning in Livingston Parish, in what appears to be a murder-suicide, the sheriff's office said. 

Deputies were dispatched to West Bates Road, south of Albany, at about 8 a.m., the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office said in a news release. 

“Upon arrival, three bodies were located: an adult male, an adult female and a juvenile. Detectives are on scene now,” Sheriff Jason Ard said in the news release at about 9:30 a.m.

“You will see crime scene tape as we continue to process the evidence along with our first responder partners,” Ard said. “Let’s all pray for this family and for those on scene.”
