Louisiana music artists Marc Broussard and Henry Turner Jr. both released new singles this month.

Carencro singer-songwriter Broussard's new one is the uplifting "Give You The World." The track will be featured on his forthcoming new 10-song studio album, due out this fall.

Centered on the theme of giving without measure, Broussard explains, "I've been sitting on this song for a few years now, just waiting for the right project. I'm so happy it's finally getting its day. The song is about giving everything you can and more to those who deserve something great."

The song was co-written by Broussard, Travis Meadows and Alphonse Ardoin and produced by Eric Krasno and Jeremy Most.

This marks Broussard's first offering of new music after the release of his 2023 highly acclaimed album, "S.O.S. 4 Blues For Your Soul," a collaboration with Joe Bonamassa that topped the Billboard Blues Album Chart.

Broussard's current tour schedule includes home state shows Sept. 27 at Downtown Rising in Lafayette, Sept. 28 at Tipitina's in New Orleans and Nov. 29 at L'Auberge Event Center in Baton Rouge.

Meanwhile in Baton Rouge, Henry Turner Jr.'s “Long As I Live” is now available on all digital platforms.

The love song is the title track from his documentary “Music Dreams … An America Story” which was released in 2019.

The half-hour documentary, executive produced and directed by Charles Bush of Mustang Films, in association with Hit City Digital TV, is a history of Turner’s 40-plus year career in the music business. It explores the evolution of his musical style from funk to reggae to soul and blues and the creation of the Flavor band.

The film debuted at the Jerome (Arizona) Film and Music Festival and on television on WLAE-TV in New Orleans. Additional screenings include the annual Cutting Edge Music Conference, Listening Room Film Festival, various libraries in Louisiana, as well as Teddy’s Juke Joint.

The song was included in the album release of “Now” in 2020.

Production credits include Turner on vocals, guitar, bass and drums; Ervin “Maestro” Foster and JahB on keyboards; and backing vocals by Molly Milne.

“Long As I Live” was written and produced by Henry Turner Jr. for Hit City Digital Records.

“The song started out as more of a spiritual or contemporary Christian song. However our audiences, who have made it one of their favorites, considered it a traditional love song," Turner said. "They kept mentioning that it is perfect for weddings, which is why I have released it as a single."
