Clay Walker's show is set to start at 10 p.m. Saturday.
"It's goin' down right here in Livingston Parish," organizer Scott Innes said of the expanded festival taking place, rain or shine, at PARDS North Park in Denham Springs from Friday to Sunday.
Headlining the festival will be Chase Matthew ("County Line") on Friday, Clay Walker ("What's It to You") on Saturday and Justin Moore ("If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away") on Sunday.
"Ticket sales have really picked up. The last two weeks have been … stupid. We're going to have thousands of people out there," Innes said.
Last year's two-day event attracted about 20,000.

Laine Hardy will perform at 6 p.m. Sunday.
"The most important thing for people to know is that if you're driving your automobile to the event, you're going to need a parking pass," he stressed.
It's shaping up to be another balmy Louisiana weekend, so take heat precautions, Innes said.
"We encourage people to bring small umbrellas to cover their heads from the heat and bring their lawn chairs," he said. "They're going to be handing out small hand fans as well."
