The actress joined the cast of the ABC show in February as a a psychiatrist for the LAPD.

Danielle, 29, has garnered fan attention since appearing on Season 6 of the drama series, once they realized she is a familiar face from a beloved Disney film.
The Illinois native previously starred as Jessica Olsen in the 2010 Disney Channel original movie, Starstruck.
The musical follows a Midwestern girl who travels to Los Angeles to visit her grandparents.
While there, Danielle's character Jessica meets pop star Christopher Wilde, and they quickly develop feelings for one another.

After she returns home, the budding Hollywood performer claims he doesn't know her and never met her, sparking controvery between them.
Now, the actress joins the cast of The Rookie after a guest appearance on Vampire Diaries.
The Rookie is ABC's police crime drama who follows John Nolan, the oldest rookie in the Los Angeles Police Department.
The show is based on a real-life officer named William Norcross, who moved to the city in 2015 and joined the force in his 40s.

A STAR IS BORN
Danielle grew up in Hinsdale, Illinois with her two parents and little brother.
The actress was discovered in a hair salon in Chicago when she was just 10 years old.
The TV star's breakout role was in Prison Break, where she guest starred for five episodes.
In addition to several high-profile commercial jobs, she also appeared as the character Darla in The Poker House movie.

ACTING CAREER
In 2010, she made her Disney Channel debut in the series Zeke and Luther as Dani, before she landed the starring role in the movie Starstruck with Sterling Knight that same year.
After the film's major success, Danielle signed a development contract with Disney, leading her to star in another film, Prom, which was released in 2011.
In 2013, the actress was cast in the television series, The Originals, as a 16-year-old witch named Davina.
Since then, she has appeared in many other projects both in TV and film.
by 2018, Danielle had landed a recurring role in the Freeform series, Famous in Love, for the second season.
Shortly after, she was cast to star in the CBS television drama Tell Me a Story.
The talented star has also hit the Broadway stage for her part in Alive Childress's Trouble in Mind.

Danielle resides in Los Angeles with her longtime boyfriend and fellow actor Colin Woodell.
The couple got engaged in August 2023 after a decade of dating.
