Hulu down updates — Thousands report mass outage as company announces it’s ‘working’ on problem
HULU experienced a mass outage on Monday night as thousands were struggling to log into their accounts.
Over 51,000 users were reporting outages with Hulu at 10 pm EST, according to Downdetector.
Around 86% of those reporting issues struggled to log in to their accounts.
Hulu Support addressed the outage on X, and wrote just before midnight, "An earlier technical issue that impacted access to Hulu is now mitigated. We apologize for the inconvenience."
The U.S. Sun has reached out to Hulu for more information but did not immediately hear back.

How to fix streaming issues
If you're encountering buffering, connection errors, freezing video, or poor video quality while watching Hulu, the following steps are recommended,
- Check that your OS and browser versions are up to date
- Check your connection or run a diagnostics test on your WiFi
- Turn off your computer and restart your WiFi
- Clear your browser's cashe
- Close and reopen your browser
- Enable JavaScript and cookies
- Enable location services
- Try another browser if streaming is still experiencing issues

Outage interrupted premiere of The Bachelorette
Many fans of The Bachelorette couldn't watch Monday's season premiere due to the Hulu outage.
"Bachelorette ABC, I am watching from Denver, CO on Hulu TV. There is no audio for the dialogue.
"We can hear the background music, and the talking on commercials. But no dialogue from the show. What gives?" one shared on X.
"My Hulu out here NOT serving. Bachelorette ABC doesn't have sound/audio/it's only background music and I am SUFFERING. We deserve better than this," another added.
Hulu says technical issue is resolved
Hulu Support has announced that the technical issue has now been resolved and customers should be able to access their accounts.

Hulu and Disney+ have offered a bundling plan for a while, which sparked the streamer to add Max and ESPN into the plan.

Current subscribers for either platform have the option to purchase the bundles with ad-free and ad-supported versions.

Some users are sharing that they are now able to access Hulu after an apparent outage earlier this evening.
"Finally came back up in Indy," one wrote on Downdetector.
"Mine just came back in central Illinois," another added.
"Back up & running in Pennsylvania!" a third added.

Outages have dropped from over 50,000 reports to 23,000.
Hulu has addressed the problem on X and is "working" on fixing the problem.
