For a start, you may not realize that Shazam is available on your iPhone as standard.

Shazam's tech identifies songs playing nearby – and tells you what you're hearing.

This isn't the main part of the trick, but it's important to know.

Apple bought Shazam back in 2018, and has built the tech directly into your iPhone.
