The shock move comes just three months after Brady's mansion on Indian Creek Island was seen with exquisite greenery including shrubs and a vegetable patch.

Several large holes are now visible in the area previously covered over with lush grass, with workers seen tending to the land.

Yellow tape has also been placed in certain spots.

It is unclear exactly why Brady decided to rip up the intricately-designed grassy area – how what his plans are now.

Since retiring from the NFL, Brady has been busy trying to complete the building of his luxury bachelor pad in an exclusive neighborhood known as Billionaire Bunker.

Brady and his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen were due to live with their children in the exclusive neighborhood.

But after splitting, Brady has taken over the $17 million two-acre plot of land, while the Brazilian supermodel has moved into a $11.5 million waterfront home directly across the creek.

The homes will be just as magnificent as each other, although Brady's will be far bigger at 20,200 square feet compared to Bundchen's 6,600-square-foot home.

The Fontainebleau Construction-led plans of Brady's property consist of a home spread over two stories, including a security building, standalone gym, pool, and a multi-purpose sports court.

In January 2023, aerial photos showed the main concrete structures had all gone up, while the beginnings of a pool were also visible towards the back of the plot.

Now the project looks more and more like a fully-fledged home.

Brady, who is known for his super-healthy lifestyle, has installed eight rectangular plots with a series of vegetables and plants at the front of the property.

The vegetable garden sits next to a pickleball court, which doubles as a full-size basketball court.

In recent weeks, Brady even posted a picture of himself by the swimming pool, with lavish outdoor seating and palm trees.

"Home is where the heart is," the NFL icon captioned the Instagram photo.

As for the home itself, windows and doors all seem to be in place, while the multiple terraces seem to be nearing completion.

On the opposite end of the pool, a large sunken hot tub has been constructed, which will offer incredible views of the creek.

The palm tree-lined dock also seems to have been completed.

This could prove to be a useful feature given that Bundchen is also in the process of renovating a mansion on the other side of the creek.

The creek could allow convenient access for their three children to travel back and forth.

Sandwiched between the creek and a golf course, Brady's new home is surrounded by celebrity neighbors.

The exact cost of the property is unclear, however, the LLC through which it was purchased in 2020 was approved for a construction loan of $36 million from JPMorgan Chase, according to the New York Post.
