THE ex-girlfriend of Glen 'Big Baby' Davis claims the NBA star lied to her about his legal issues - and says she feels relieved their relationship is over after he was handed a prison sentence for medical fraud.

The 30-year-old mom, who asked not to be named, spoke out last year to accuse the former Boston Celtics star of getting her pregnant, bullying her into getting an abortion, and then ghosting her when she asked him to contribute towards her $950 clinic bill. He denies forcing her into abortion.

The woman, who works in fashion, provided extensive evidence to The U.S. Sun to back up her claims, and said she felt "duped" by Davis, 38, who allegedly led her to believe he wanted to settle down and have a baby with her - but then changed his mind after getting her pregnant.

Speaking out after the basketball star was sentenced by a federal judge to 40 months in prison for his part in a scheme to defraud the NBA's health care benefits plan, the unnamed woman said she was not surprised to hear the news, giving his previous "dishonest" behavior.

“I dodged a bullet with him," she told The U.S. Sun in an exclusive interview.

"He lied to me and told me he wanted to start family and have a future together, all while he knew he was in real legal trouble and he would not have even been able to be there for our baby. It’s really sad.

"When I got pregnant, he said he was going to be too busy to take care of a child.

"At the time, I had no idea this is what he was talking about. He clearly has boundary issues and I absolutely never would have gotten involved with him if I knew he was involved in this legal scandal.

"He actually did tell me had some legal issues he was dealing with, but made it clear he was innocent and his lawyers would take care of everything.

"That obviously was a lie as well. He seems trustworthy but there was no excuse for what he did to me or in this situation today.

"In retrospect, this isn’t a real surprise, knowing he couldn’t even take care of or pay for what he did to me.

"In my mind, reap what you sow and I hope he learns that he needs to live by the same rules as all of us. Just be a good person."

She believes that the star will be able to adjust to prison life and cope well with his sentence as he is a "strong man" - and while she is relieved they are no longer together she wishes him all the best.

She added: "I felt like God protected me from what I was supposed to be protected from...

"I feel very relieved that we aren’t together anymore I was so hurt from our situation.

"I am happy I was not tied to him or this drama in any way.

"I hope he just makes it out a better person and doesn’t get involved with anything like this ever again.

"God bless him and his family moving forward, I hope he learns from this and something positive comes out of this negative situation."

JAIL GOALS

Davis took to Instagram live after his sentencing outside a New York courthouse last week to tell followers his prison stint will lead to a body transformation.

The 6-foot-9, 289-pound basketball player said: "That’s the only way you can stop me from eating hamburgers is to put me in jail."

As well as a prison sentence he will have to pay £80,000 in restitution.

Davis was convicted last November for filing false medical claims with the NBA Players' Health and Benefit Welfare Plan after he was first charged in October 2021.

His ex-girlfriend said she started dating him in in March 2023 after they met outside an elevator in an apartment building in downtown Los Angeles.

"In my mind, reap what you sow and I hope he learns that he needs to live by the same rules as all of us. Just be a good person."

She said it started off as a fairytale romance but after a few months Davis's behavior changed and he became "controlling and demanding" and kept saying he wanted her to have his child.

The woman refused and kept taking her birth control but alleged he refused to wear condoms and would "cry and whine" when she asked him to use one.

"There were times where I asked him to use protection and he refused, he just wouldn't, and he would get really upset if I said, 'Ok we can't have sex then,'" she said.

"He would get mad or whine and cry about it - it became this whole thing.

"Then he started getting controlling and showing up to my place, sending me voicemails asking me, 'Where you at? Where you at?'

"It seemed he was changing from this nice man into something else.

"During this time we were still having sex and he continued to ejaculate inside me even though I told him, 'I'm not comfortable with that - yes I'm on birth control but it's not 100 percent.'

"Everyone should know birth control is not always effective - he's nearly 40 years old so you would think he already knew that."

She got pregnant after her birth control failed last July and when she broke the news to Davis, she alleged he began bullying her and demanded she get an abortion.

"I wasn't sure because I am pro-life and I wasn't really thinking of having an abortion at my age," she said.

"But because he turned into a complete monster and was bullying and harassing me I ended up agreeing to have an abortion. I decided I could not have a baby with this man."

After undergoing the procedure, the woman asked Davis to pay the $950 medical bill but alleged he kept making excuses before eventually ignoring her.

She said she was left heartbroken and "crying every day" and decided to speak out to warn other women about his behavior.

Following her interview, she accused Davis of threatening to expose her - and showed The U.S. Sun a screenshot of a text, purportedly from the star, which read: "Why would you lie? The world will know who you are!"

At the time, Davis said in a statement: "This woman told me that she was on birth control. It was her own decision to have an abortion.

"I do not know if I got her pregnant or if someone else did.

"I asked her to prove that I impregnated her before stepping up financially as a man should.
