NBA analyst Paul Pierce did not pull any punches as he brutally mocked the Los Angeles Lakers.

Chants of "who's your daddy?" could be heard ringing out at the Ball Arena in both games as the Nuggets took a 2-0 lead in the series.

Lakers fans are probably afraid of another clean sweep after being bounced by Denver in last year's postseason.

But Pierce, who finished his career with the LA Clippers, is not giving them a break.

He wore a customized T-shirt on Undisputed and used the moment to mock Keyshawn Johnson, who hails from LA.

"If this wasn't a who's your daddy moment game, then I don't know what is," Pierce said before asking his co-host how he was doing.

“That’s some really low-down stuff right there,” one fan commented.

"Undisputed is much more entertaining with Paul Pierce. Good fit on the show. Best it has been since Shannon Sharpe," added another.

The Lakers led going into the final period but were outscored 32-20 to finish the game down 101-99.

"The Lakers just start reverting back to old habits," Pierce said. "In the second half, they gave up the 3 and didn't play defense.

"They hoped that somehow, magically, the Nuggets would go away, no matter what the lead was. Jokic was Jokic.

"Well, we see why now. You had opportunity after opportunity to come up with big stop after big stop, and he couldn't do it.

"That's not to say he's not a really good defender, he is a really good defender.

"But, when you're playing the best in the world, this is your opportunity to show it."

Skipp Bayless, meanwhile, was not impressed by James, who stormed out of a post-loss press conference.

"He just doesn't have the closer's gene."

"He just doesn't have the clutch gene," he said. "He just doesn't have the closer's gene.

"This is a closer's game. Some guys make that shot and some guys don't make that shot.

"Would Magic Johnson have made that shot? I think so.
