The way this chair is facing will be different to what you thought

It shows a black chair in the middle of a white room in what seems pretty straightforward so far.

Reality then starts to warp as a man comes in from out of shot and sits on the chair - but from a completely different angle to which you thought it was facing.

The chairs were created by French design studio Ibride, according to Dezeen.

An explanation for the illusion shows that the chairs were intentionally designed to appear warped and uneven.

However, when seen from a specific angle, our eyes are tricked because their silhouettes resemble classic designs.
