Troye Sivan is an Australian actor, singer, and songwriter.
Born in Johannesburg, South Africa on June 5, 1995, Sivan moved to Perth, Western Australia, with his parents and siblings when he was just two years old.
Sivan rose to fame thanks in part to his YouTube channel, where he posted singing videos under the moniker TroyeSivan18.
Though he signed with the music label EMI Australia in June 2013, Sivan's first major success came shortly after he released his third EP, TRXYE, the following summer.

Music isn't Sivan's only passion: he's also acted in Joel Edgerton's biographical drama film Boy Erased in 2018, the 2022 Paramount+ comedy-drama film Three Months, and alongside The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp in HBO's controversial 2023 summer series The Idol.
After a five-year break from his last studio album, Bloom, Sivan released his newest album, Something to Give Each Other, on October 13, 2023, to rave reviews from critics and fans.
In an interview with Billboard magazine, he mentions that the album is about “every sort of connection being beautiful in its own way, and of togetherness and community and joy.”
