TEEN Mom Jenelle Evans and her husband, David Eason, have been left in a financial crisis as their legal bills and outstanding $46,000 tax bill pile up.
Multiple sources have told The U.S. Sun David and Jenelle are paying for what amounts to a full legal team as they continue to battle over her son Jace, 14, in a Child Protective Custody case and David fights felony charges for his alleged attack on the teen in September 2023.
A North Carolina clerk confirmed that the pair's outstanding 2020 state tax lien has continued to go unpaid, nearly four years after it was filed.
One source revealed that beyond the former Teen Mom 2 stars' legal bills and unpaid taxes, they're terrible with money.
"They order take-out all the time to feed four or five mouths when Maryssa is home, they go on pricey trips with - and without - the kids, and they sink money on their always-breaking, expensive toys, like the boat & their ATV.
Maryssa is Jenelle's 16-year-old stepdaughter.

That source said, "There is no discernable steady income coming into the house beyond the clickbait Jenelle does, and her OnlyFans account, which she keeps up with sporadically at best."
There was some relief however for the legally beleaguered couple, as The U.S. Sun reported last month the months long CPS case against Jenelle and David's North Carolina household, known as "The Land," is over.
SOME LEGAL RELIEF
"The CPS case against the household is closed, and the younger kids will not be removed," the source said.
That insider added that the outcome of that case is completely separate from Jace's case with CPS.

It is also apart from the criminal charges David is facing for allegedly attacking the teen.
"Jace will never go back to Jenelle's home, not as long as David is there," the source claimed.
Meanwhile, a second source claimed that the youngest kids have both been interviewed by CPS at least twice since the investigation opened in the fallout over Jenelle's oldest son being allegedly attacked by her husband last fall.
As The U.S. Sun exclusively first reported, David's charges have been upgraded from a misdemeanor to a felony.
The 35-year-old now faces a misdemeanor child abuse charge and a felony charge for assault by strangulation after he was indicted by a North Carolina grand jury for his alleged attack on her oldest teenage son.
DAVID'S FELONY CHARGE
According to a North Carolina clerk, David's case was heard by a grand jury on January 10.
"They found enough evidence to take his case out of district court, where misdemeanors are held, and bring it to superior," the court clerk said.
"District court hears misdemeanors, traffic, and other infractions, whereas felony cases are heard in superior," they added.
JACE'S ALLEGED INJURIES
In court papers first revealed by The U.S. Sun, it is alleged that David "willingly harmed" his stepson and caused marks on his arm and neck.
"The defendant unlawfully and willingly did, being the parent of Jace V Evans, who was a child, less than 16 years of age, inflict physical injury on that child."
"The physical injury inflicted caused marks on their right arm and left and right side of the neck, and was inflicted by other than accidental means," the court filing went on.
The alleged battery by strangulation took place just before Jace had run away from Jenelle's home for a third time.
At a hospital, Jace told cops that the violent incident took place the night before he ran away in front of a neighbor's house, according to the source.
It was there that he first told cops that there were witnesses to the attack.
"They had a Ring camera that captured the incident," the insider told The U.S. Sun exclusively.
JACE'S CUSTODY SITUATION
Jenelle, 32, got custody of Jace in March 2023 after her mother, Barbara Evans, who raised him since he was a baby, signed over her rights to the teen.
Child Protective Services took custody of Jace after David's alleged attack.

Jace was then briefly placed back with Barbara, but in November, Jace ran away from Barbara's house.
He has since been under medical supervision and remains in the custody of CPS.
